I thought this kid was going to give advice on lacrosse gear or the Ivy League dating scene….then all of a sudden….he’s “wheelin and dealin”.

I’m just not convinced…..maybe it’s the way he rocks in his chair like he’s pre-fatality or something….

If your going to be a white rapper….you have to bring something special to the table. If you look down the line at the Beastie Boys for example…they were breaking new ground with blending rock and rap…having Rick Rubin certainly helped…but they always took things in new directions.

These days it’s all about guys like Mac Miller…a kid who has an incredibly natural flow and a great ear for music.

So I would say stick to lacrosse and being republican up there in NH….but hey…if you come up with something bad ass….let me know…

Not only is this the best engineering school on the planet. But the professors are so Jedi they can draw dotted lines in one quick motion and make the chaulk do fart noises. I have always been intrigued by MIT but this is just taking it to new levels.

So I’m getting a coffee at the Morrissey Dunks yesterday when I notice some folks sitting on top of the makeshift memorial for the 3 young folks lost nearly 2 weeks back. I approach, explain who I am then ask if it’s ok to snap a quick picture….I get the thumbs up.

Having been through a long healing process myself and understanding some of the dynamics….you don’t ever want to feel like your loved ones are forgotten. You tend to go through a wide range of emotions, all of them a necessary experience to truly heal. I just wanted to reach out to the family members (one of whom was there yesterday) and let them know none of these kids will be forgotten.

As most of you know, moving in and out of a triple decker can be quite the task. A third floor move can take in excess of 8 hours and usually involves damaging walls and furniture in the process. So one Dot Rat decided he wasn’t going to bother with all that aggravation and set out to rent himself a ladder hoist. You typically see roofing contractors using these….but what a perfect device for a triple decker move.
